Share Your Discoveries
The International Ocean Discovery Program (IODP)–with its predecessor programs, the Deep Sea Drilling Project (DSDP), Ocean Drilling Program (ODP), and Integration Ocean Drilling Program–is the longest running international geosciences collaboration and has been the centerpiece of many sub-fields of the geosciences. Scientists define the objectives and goals of the program, and therefore play the most important role in promoting its successes. We have compiled a series of resources, avenues, and mechanisms to help any scientist, geoscience educator, or enthusiast who wants to discuss scientific ocean drilling with colleagues, classrooms, or other audiences. IODP is your program, and we urge you to share your discoveries.

Communicate your innovative discoveries to a wider audience beyond the drilling community, including the public, science community leaders and policy makers. Learn More

Engage other science communities and enhance the scope of your scientific goals to benefit greater numbers of sub-disciplines and to promote novel interdisciplinary research. Learn More

Educate the next generation of geoscientists, educators, and science program managers, and integrate the IODP scientific discoveries into science and math pedagogy to make a lasting contribution to national education. Learn More

Helpful tools, including slides and images, to use when communicating any research that uses IODP data or samples. Learn More
